University of Illinois Chicago undergraduates push quantum information technology at Argonne

UIC students work at the Argonne Quantum Foundry through the Break Through Tech Chicago program, helping automate an important step in the production of diamond membranes for qubits.

Through a Breakthrough Tech Chicago internship, undergraduates Claudia Jimenez, Andrea Muñoz, Aima Qutbuddin, Lisset Rico, Lisette Ruano, and Fernanda Villalpando worked at Argonne National Laboratory on cutting-edge quantum material creation.
